Birthdays

June is like another December for our family...three of the four of us celebrate our birthdays in one month and it's crazy, but fun. Here are some photos from all the birthdays and celebrations during the last month.

Brian's Birthday - June 15th

Brian definitely got the prettiest location for his birthday this year. We were in Utah with my side of the family, and this is the cabin we stayed at in the mountains not far from Park City.

I got Brian this board game, "Lost Cities", for his birthday this year. For those of you who like board games, I highly recommend this one. It's a great two-player game and Brian and I have been playing it a lot lately.

Cole's Birthday - June 20th

Cole woke up to his presents all sitting on the couch, wrapped and waiting. When Brian was growing up, the birthday was spent opening one present in the morning, another a few hours later, and so on. We've adopted that and it is fun watching him open each present and play with it before he moves on. His first present this year was the Little People garage.

In the afternoon/evening, we had a birthday party with friends...we had hot dogs, ice cream, and cake.

Some of the party guests...it was a really fun get-together.

Dirty-faced and happy! I think Cole enjoyed his 3rd birthday immensely.

Karene's Birthday - June 27th

By the time my birthday rolls around, we've all had about as much birthday cake as we can handle. We've started a tradition of rice krispy treats instead of cake for my birthday, and I love it! Even without the cake overload, I'll take that deliciousness over cake any day.


I don't know what kind of joke Brian was trying to pull...I did not turn 30 this year! Or did I? :)
