Haircuts

Cole was born with a ton of hair. He had his first haircut at 5 months old, and has needed a haircut every couple of months since then. Weston, on the other hand, was born with some hair but not nearly so much. His is finer, and could grow a lot longer before it needed a cut. He's 18 months old and until yesterday, he hadn't had anything more than a trim to keep the hair out of his eyes and off his ears. But the adorable curls at his neck were getting really long (mullet-style long) and his hair was getting matted easily...in short, when it looked good, it looked really good, but when it didn't (which was much more often the case) it looked really bad. So, the time had come.

BEFORE:

AFTER: (haircuts are a traumatizing experience for all involved)

A little happier, after the trauma subsided:

Cole got a haircut too:

And while I was at it, I cut Brian's. (We didn't get any pictures of that one.) Someone needs to start paying me to do this job. :)

Holy cow. I can't believe you cute his darling hair. He looks a lot more like Cole with his hair cut. They are both very handsome.

I can see why you wouldn't want to cut those great curls, so cute. Good job on the cuts, its so great to cut your families hair. Saves lots of money and its fun :)

This is the first time I've seen a picture of Weston's hair since we cut it. It makes me want to cry. I really miss his mop.

I agree he looks a lot more like Cole now. Maybe he can let it grow longer and have curls in between cuts. The curly mop is really cute, too. I love the picture of Cole.

Man, he looks like one miserable sucker after the haircut. But what can you do? Anyway, my first two batches of yogurt have been excellent, and I did things quite differently each time. You'll have to figure out how you "messed it up," so I can attempt cream cheese too, though I suppose it's likely that I'll mess up a batch sooner or later.
