More Adventures

So this week's installment is mostly just filling in some holes that we left out over the past month with our Germany & Halloween adventures. First, here are a couple of pictures I took by Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany.

This castle was the most impressive human residence I think that I have ever seen. I would love to go back with Karene someday. The village around here was a little farming community with cows grazing almost right up to the foothills of the castle! It was absolutely beautiful beyond description.

Cole has been extremely affectionate with Weston lately. We stopped counting how many times Cole gave him a kiss yesterday - it's very sweet.

Weston was a pumpkin for Halloween. We borrowed the costume from our friends Mike and Kim.

Edward, move on over, here comes Cole. This shot was, needless to say, an instant classic.

I took Cole trick-or-treating at his friend Gavin's house. There were all sorts of creepy things there, like a zombie that came out of a coffin, a head that jumped up out of a pot, and this gigantic spider. Cole didn't decide to be scared until I got startled by the head in the pot. Then he started crying. He loved it though, and still talks about it frequently two weeks later.

This last Saturday, we went to a historical ranch in Long Beach. It was an hour long drive in traffic to get there, and they closed just a half hour after we arrived, but Cole had a blast. They had big horses and exotic cacti.

One of Cole's many obsessions lately is with Karene's water spray bottle. He sometimes has a hard time keeping the spray just into the bathtub!

Life is busy. Make sure to get lots of rest - that's what Weston keeps telling us, so for once, I decided to listen to him. Nice ..

All of these pictures are priceless, but I agree, the one of "Edward" is classic. Maybe Cole will dress up for us when we come?

He'd be thrilled to get to have his hair sprayed red again. He thought that was awesome.
