In the spirit of Valentine's Day, a little late

I've been tagged for this little bit of lovers' info, so here goes!

What is your hubby's name? Brian Whitelaw Hansen

How long have you been together? How long did you date? We've been married since August 2003 (we'll celebrate our 5 year anniversary this year!). We met in January 2003, went on our first date at the end of March, got engaged at the end of May, and were married at the beginning of August. Yes, all of this after both of us swore (prior to meeting each other) that it was silly to move quickly and that you had to know someone at least a year before you could even consider marrying them! Thankfully, we're still going strong 5 years later and are setting our sights on eternity (go ahead, big ahhhh from the crowd...)

Who said I love you first? Brian did. I never would have had the nerve.

Who is smarter? Brian, hands down. I can't even have an intelligent conversation about the things he does at work. I think I'm a bright enough person, but Brian's downright brilliant.

Who does the laundry? Who does the dishes? I do most of the laundry, but Brian helps a lot with the dishes. We've both been a lot happier since we got a dishwasher, though.

Who sleeps on the right? Right now, it alternates every night. Whoever's turn it is to get up in the night with Weston sleeps on the right (closest to the door). Now would be a good time for everyone to be duly impressed that Brian has stepped up to help me with the night feedings, since it seems they're not going to be over anytime in the near future...thanks, honey!

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who cooks dinner? I do most of the time, but Brian is actually a pretty good cook. When I need help, he can fill in and cook a nice meal, as long as he's got the recipe and ingredients in front of him.

Who drives when you are together? Brian, unless he begs me to on a long drive. I really hate driving.

Who is more stubborn? Me. Definitely. Poor Brian. :)

Who kissed who first? Brian...again, I was definitely not one to put the moves on during the dating phase...

Who asked who out first? You guessed it! Brian.

Who proposed? Again, that would be...Brian.

Who has more siblings? I do, but only by one. I have five siblings, and Brian has four.

Who wears the pants? I should probably say I do...Brian's sister is fond of telling me that I'm good at making Brian believe he's making decisions with me, but it's really all me. I'd like to think that it's more equal though. Maybe I should have Brian weigh in here. :)
